The Dee Deb Teens was a girls’ club affiliated with Union Church of Los Angeles. Evident in this group photograph from March 24, 1951, are the distinctive saddle shoes and letterman-style sweaters of the 1950s. Other girls’ clubs of this era included the Bluebirds, Blue Circle, Demoiselles, Girls Reserve, Argonauts, Corsairs, Oxy, Hi-Y, Pioneers, and the Knights.
